The Cure com novo álbum na Primavera de 2006





Durante o festival espanhol BENICASSIM FESTIVAL foi anunciado pela banda a intenção de lançar um novo álbum em 2006. Robert Smith revelou antes do show em Espanha que estão a planear um novo álbum: “We want to start recording in October/November and get it out by birthday next year, which I know is quite cheesy.” Robert Smith faz 47 em 21 de Abril de 2006.

O frontman da banda também revelou que gostaría de trabalhar com Steve Severin( Siouxsie And The Banshees) para o novo material. "I'm not sure though. We might kill each other!".
