Inspiral Carpets - This is how it feels


Hoje estou um pouco nostálgico, e ainda mais fiquei quando ouvi falar que os Inspiral Carpets embarcaram numa tour de 8 datas pelo Reino Unido.

Embora não fosse um apreciador muito entusiasmado da cena Madchester, sempre havia uma ou outra banda que fazia umas músiquinhas engraçadas e orelhudas. Era o caso dos Inspiral Carpers, EMF, Stone Roses, Ned´s Atomic Dustbin ou Jesus Jones.

Em relação aos Inspiral Carpets, além das 8 datas marcadas para o Reino Unido, vão lançar ainda uma edição exclusiva digital no iTunes, o Keep The Circle, com muitos lados B´s de singles e músicas nunca antes lançadas.

E que tal música feita exclusivamente no velhinho ZX Spectrum?

Começou com uma cassete com 3 faixas em 2004, que agora é vendida a quase 20 euros na internet, com um sucesso tão grande que agora os Zx Spectrum Orchestra resolveram lançar de uma assentada um EP/DVD e um álbum.

Todos os sons foram criados em Basic usando o processador original do velhinho Spectrum 48 K de 1982. Nas vocalizações foi usado o Currah speech synthesiser.
