Sinopse:

Os vinte e seis álbuns (!) editados pelos IN THE NURSERY, revelam a extraordinária regularidade com que o mítico grupo, liderado pelos gémeos Klive e Nigel Humberstone, tem pautado a sua brilhante e personalizada carreira, para a qual muito têm contribuido, entre outros, as vozes elegantes, quentes, e sensuais, de Marguerite C. Dolores, e da habitual colaboradora dos Massive Attack, Sarah Jay Hawley...

A música dos IN THE NURSERY é neoclássica, mas a sua reminiscência é, sem dúvida, urbana, sublime, grandiosa, evocativa, intemporal e cinemática. Não é por isso de estranhar que os seus préstimos tenham sido requisitados para a composição de bandas sonoras de filmes como "Entrevista com um vampiro", "O aviador" ou "The rainmaker", ou ainda para musicar grandes clássicos do cinema mudo como "Das cabinet of Dr. Caligari", "The man with a movie camera" ou "Electric Edwardians"... Murcof

Descobi Murcof há pouco tempo, pelo registo Cosmos deste ano e digo-vos: é fantástico. Um electric space ambient dentro do género da banda sonora de Solaris. Muito bom. Um must para os apreciadores.

Mind.In.A.Box - Crossroads (2007)

Mind.In.A.Box - Crossroads. Um dos lançamentos mais aguardados deste ano. Os Mind.In.A.Box são uma das bandas de eleição aqui do tasco. Os registos anteriores (Lost Alone e Dreamweb) são fantásticos, e elevam a banda ao expoente máximo do género future pop espacial e envolvente. São dois registos obrigatórios, bem como este novo Crossroads. Já tive oportunidade de ouvir e está dentro da linha dos anteriores, criando os mesmos ambientes e sensações. As expectativas eram altas, e não sairam defraudadas. Muito bom. Os MIAB são daquelas bandas que melhoram registo após registo. Sem dúvida um dos melhores registos de 2007. Absolutamente recomendado pelo \\WMM.
